Molana Mohammed Farook Kazi was born in Preston, U.K. After completing his Ḥifẓ-ul- Qurʾān and ʿĀlimiyyah Course at the Institute of Islamic Education, Dewsbury (UK) in 1998, he has ever since been involved in Maktab (evening Islamic supplementary schools) education. In 2001, he founded Al-Ansaar Welfare & Education (Preston), and a year later MTQ came into existence.
During the years 2006-2017, he was involved in the establishment and running of an Early Years provision, at the same time undertaking a Degree in Early Years Education, thereafter, completing the E.Y.P. (Early Years Professional Status – broadly equivalent to “Qualified Teacher Status”). This experience has been used to enrich the Maktab, including the continued professional development of our teachers and systems.
In addition to teaching various levels and age ranges, including the founding of our ʿĀlimiyyah Course in 2013, from 2015, Allah has afforded him the grace and favour of teaching Aḥādīth and Aḥādīth Literature – both at a beginner’s level.
His hobbies include a strong interest in Islamic history, Classical Arabic, travelling, charity work, writing, and spending time with his family.

Molana Yusuf studied and graduated from the traditional Alimiyyah (Islamic theology) degree at Darul Uloom Al Arabiya Al Islamiya (Bury, UK). Since graduating in 2014, Molana has taught at various Islamic institutes such as Masjid Noorul Islam (Blackburn), Bayt Muhammad Academy (Blackburn), Al-Itqaan (Online Madrasah). Molana is passionate about Islamic history, Aqeeda. Hadeeth and Tafseer. Molana Yusuf delivered “The history and significance of Masjid Al-Aqsa & the crusaders and Salahuddin Al-Ayyubi RA” two-part workshop at Ilm Seeker Academy.
Molana Huzayfah Bhayat began his Alimiyyah studies at Abrar Academy (Preston Darul Uloom) and went on to graduate at Darul Uloom Al Arabiya Al Islamiya (Bury, UK). Molana serves as an Imam at Masjid Saliheen (Preston). He is regularly invited to deliver speeches at various Islamic Institutions and Masaajid across the UK. Molana delivered a five-part webinar “The four great Imams” here at Ilm Seeker Academy.
Molana Ebrahim studied and graduated from the traditional Alimiyyah (Islamic theology) degree at Darul Uloom Al Arabiya Al Islamiya (Bury, UK), after completing the initial years of the course at the Islamic Academy of Coventry. He holds a BSc Honours Degree in Computer Systems Technology as well as other professional qualifications in the IT field. He currently teaches at the Islamic Academy of Coventry and also delivers workshops/presentations across the country on a number of important subjects. He has authored many booklets, among which are Male &Female Hygiene from an Islamic Perspective, Funeral Rites in Islam, Hajj & Umrah Checklist and Prayers in Salah. Molana has also successfully delivered Umrah and Zakah workshops here at Ilm Seeker Academy!
Molana Anwar studied the traditional Alimiyyah course at Darul Uloom Al Arabiya Al Islamiya (Bury, UK) and Madinatul Uloom Al-Islamiya (Kidderminster). Molana has taught children Islamic studies and the Alimiyyah course. He currently teaches Jalaalayn and Muslim Shareef alongside delivering lessons in the main masjid related to Riyadus Saliheen and Qur’an Tafseer. Molana delivers workshops related to hygiene, Hajj and journey of Qur’an. He specialises in using technology productively and responsibly to further the cause of Deen. Molana delivered a “Social media workshop (impacts on society – from an Islamic perspective)” here at Ilm Seeker Academy!
Molana Saad Mohammad studied his first three years of the traditional Alimiyyah course at Al-Huda Darul-Uloom (Bolton) thereafter completing his final three years at Darul Uloom Al Arabiya Al Islamiya (Bury, UK). After graduating, Molana specialised in Fiqh studies. Molana also went onto complete a one year “Mufti” course at Ihyaa-us-Sunnah Madrasah (Bolton). Molana currently teaches Riyadh-us-Saaliheen (Authentic Hadith book) in Bolton alongside teaching Arabic foundation at weekends. Molana delivered the first course at Ilm Seeker Academy “Tafseer of Surah Yusuf”.
Hafiz Yahya has gained a Diploma in Islamic studies. He has taught at a local Madrasah in Preston since 2016 covering a wide range of subjects. Hafiz Saheb has a strong passion and love for Islamic history and is currently specialising his knowledge in the Umayyads. Hafiz Yahya has already delivered a two-part workshop “The Umayyads: Go’s inheritors of the Earth”. He will be delivering a 4-week course here at Ilm Seeker Academy in September 2024.
Molana Ahmed studied and graduated from the traditional Alimiyyah (Islamic theology) degree at Darul Uloom Al Arabiya Al Islamiya (Bury, UK). He has experience as a Madrasah teacher covering a range of subjects such as Qur'an Tajweed and Islamic studies. Molana is the head of Hifz department in his local Madrasah. He also serves as a part time chaplain Imam in prisons across the UK. Molana is currently teaching adults Qur’an and Qaidah studies on a one-to-one basis here at Ilm Seeker Academy.
Molana Arshad studied and graduated from the traditional Alimiyyah (Islamic theology) degree at Darul Uloom Al Arabiya Al Islamiya (Bury, UK). He has experience of twelve years as an Imam and Madrasah teacher covering a range of subjects such as Qur'an Tajweed, Islamic studies, Tasheel series. Safar series, Nasiha series, Dua/Surah memorisation and Hifz. Molana is currently teaching the first Hifz student here at Ilm Seeker Academy!
Ustadha Sameera studied at Lancaster Jamea Al-Kauthar Daruk-Uloom for 5 years. She taught there for three years after graduating covering a wide range of subjects. Ustadha is an expert in Seerah and taught this topic to both teens and adults. She has also taught at Abrar Academy (Preston) for 6 years teaching a variety of topics. Ustadha Sameera currently teaches a two-year Seerah online course for females here at Ilm Seeker Academy!
Ustadha Amina studied and graduated from the traditional Alimiyyah course alongside memorising the Qur’an. She has taught the Islamic curriculum in a multilingual classroom with students of various backgrounds. Ustadha Currently teaches the ‘Ālimiyyah (Islamic degree) class in Bolton, UK. Ustadha has successfully delivered short courses such as “Fiqh for Females” and “Arba’in course (40 Ahadith of Imam Nawawi)” here at Ilm Seeker Academy. Ustadha is currently teaching “Shama’il Muhammadiyya (SAW)” to female learners at Ilm Seeker Academy.
Ustadha Khadijah studied and graduated from the traditional Alimiyyah course (6years). She has over 10 years of teaching experience and has taught subjects such as: Islamic studies, Qur’an, Tajweed and Qur’an Tafseer. Ustadha currently teaches children and adults on a one to basis at Ilm Seeker Academy. She has successfully delivered a two-part course “Tajweed crash course” here at Ilm Seeker Academy!
Ustadha Nashira studied and graduated from the traditional Alimiyyah course. She has taught for 7 years in a madrasah in Preston to students aged 10-15. She has also taught the Qur’an Islamic curriculum, Taleemul Haq and Seerah.
Ustadha Sadiyah studied and graduated from the traditional Alimiyyah course at Zaynab Institute. She has taught Islamic studies to children, teenagers and adults. Her speciality lies particularly in Sarf (Arabic Sarf), and passion lies in Hadith. Ustadha has successfully delivered “Tafseer of Surah Yaseen” here at Ilm Seeker Academy!
Ustadha Asiya was born and raised in London, though recently moved to Leicester after marriage. She completed all of her Islamic education in London and started pursuing 'aalimiyyah at the age of 17 alongside university studies. Ustadha had enrolled onto a part time 7 year programme at a local institute called al-Rawda, however did the final year full time as her degree in Bio-materials was complete by then. She has since pursued post grad studies at Whitethread Institute after graduating from Aalimiyyah.
Previously, Ustadha Asiya has taught tafsir, fiqh, seerah, and grammar with inheritance also being a keen interest. She has had the opportunity to teach a variety of age groups ranging from qa'idah students to adults in both 'aalimiyyah and general knowledge programmes.
With regards to Ustadha Asiya’s knowledge in menstruation specifically, she studied under Mufti Zubair Patel and then later Mufti Abdur Rahman Mangera.
